Kano Mitchell

Kano Mitchell is Chief Operating Officer of Global Strategic Associates, LLC (GSA) and was one of its original founders. Additionally, Ms. Mitchell is President of GSA’s wholly-owned broker-dealer subsidiary. Prior to joining GSA, Ms. Mitchell was with a law firm in New York City, where she focused on general commercial litigation. As a practicing attorney, Ms. Mitchell represented clients in both State and Federal court as well as in front of City agencies on matters including fraud and negligence, breach of contract, and antitrust. Ms. Mitchell was involved in all stages of litigation, including drafting pre-trial motions, analyzing discovery documents, assisting in depositions, and drafting of appellate briefs.

Ms. Mitchell holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her JD from St. John’s Law School. Ms. Mitchell holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 24 and 79 registrations and is a licensed attorney admitted to practice in New York.  Ms. Mitchell also speaks Japanese.
