Rodney McLauchlan
Rodney McLauchlan is Chairman of Latin America for Global Strategic Associates, LLC.
Rodney began his career in investment banking at Bankers Trust Company, where he was an Executive Vice President and a member of the bank’s management committee. Subsequent to Deutsche Bank’s acquisition of Bankers Trust, Rodney was the Chief Executive Officer for Deutsche Bank in Latin America. He is currently a Senior Advisor to Shearman and Sterling, LLP as well as a founder and board member of Legacy Trust Family Wealth Offices. In addition to these roles, Rodney is also a board member of Uptime Solutions, Swyft Mobile and Perfin Ivestimentos; a former member of the Supervisory Board of Global Collect; former Chairman and Trustee of The Bolles School; as well as an emeritus board member of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Rodney earned an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He also holds an APC in Federal Taxation from New York University. Rodney currently resides in Florida and claims as his most significant accomplishment his family: his wife Kristin and their five children.
